Miss 8 first read the Scratch and Patch series in prep and loved them. Now they are a favourite with Mr 2 1/2 who often picks them out of the book shelf and asks his big sister to read them. Awesome for boys and girls!!

Scratch and Patch series was a great alternative to the standard school readers my sons would bring home from school. School readers were often dull for boys (and mums!) Scratch and Patch kept them entertained but with repetition that allow early readers to develop confidence. Scratch and Patch have a good story line and pictures to match. With an assortment of readers on hands, it was the one series the boys would select over other readers.
